Tuesdays 2-3 pm
Chair Yoga
with Jan Cowan
Offered by Donation

Chair Yoga is a way of practicing more "traditional" yoga poses with the support of a chair, which can make yoga available for people who prefer to not use the floor. Appropriate for people who are working at a desk or a computer and wish to take a "yoga break," to refresh and renew their energy. Sometimes, a simple forward bend or a twist done in the chair is just the thing for renewing one’s energy!  Jan has been practicing yoga since 1970, and teaching since 1992 throughout Shasta and Siskiyou Counties, including Shasta College, College of the Siskiyous, Shasta Yoga, and others. No pre registration necessary.
